Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project to Begin on June 13
The Town-project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Leesburg, VA (June 8, 2022) – The Town of Leesburg’s Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project will
begin on Monday, June 13.
The Town’s contractor, Visu Sewer East, LLC will rehabilitate sanitary sewer manholes,
throughout the Town, to eliminate infiltration and exfiltration, restore structural integrity, an d
protect the structure from future deterioration. This project is expected to be completed by the
end of this year.
To perform the work, the contractor may need to reduce traffic in certain roadways to one
lane, with alternating traffic controlled by flag crews. Drivers should be alert to the change in
traffic patterns and follow flag crew directions. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes
where possible.
Construction will be primarily performed Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
(excluding Town observed Holidays) with occasional night work in high traffic areas. The
construction schedule may be affected by inclemen t weather or equipment issues. Updates will
be posted to the Town website and social medial accounts as necessary.
