No Trash, Recycling, or Yard Waste Collection on 4th of July
Holiday
Leesburg, VA (June 28, 2022) – There will be no trash, recycling, or yard waste collection in the
Town of Leesburg on the Independence Day holiday, Monday, July 4.
The revised holiday schedule for trash, recycling, and yard waste collection for residential
customers is as follows:
• Monday, July 4 – No collections
• Tuesday, July 5 – NW and Town-wide yard waste collection
• Wednesday, July 6 - NE, inside the Bypass
• Thursday, July 7 – NE, outside the Bypass
• Friday, July 8 – SW plus Meadowbrook
• Saturday, July 9 – SE, except Meadowbrook
The revised holiday schedule for trash and recycling collection for downtown commercial
customers is as follows:
• Monday, July 4 – No collections
• Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday – Recycling for downtown commercial customers
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday – Trash for downtown commercial
customers
