Mobile Axe Throwing Trailer Wins 15th Annual Patriot Cup
Leesburg, VA (July 4, 2022) – The 32nd annual
Independence Day parade featured at least 60
entries this year. Members of the Leesburg
Daybreak Rotary Club judged Primal Axe’s
mobile axe throwing trailer as “Best in Show”.
The custom trailer, which is approximately 20
feet long, incorporates a fully enclosed throwing
platform featuring two full size targets that can
accommodate two throwers at a time. It was
decorated in full Independence Day attire during
Monday morning’s parade.
“It’s our first time here being in the parade and
this win is huge,” said Owner Peter Pao. “It’s very exciting and we can’t wait to do more with the
community.”
Mayor Kelly Burk presented the 15th annual Patriot Cup to the Pao and his wife, Rachel, prior to the
parade. It will be engraved with their names and placed on display at Leesburg Town Hall. The winners
will be presented with a certificate of recognition during an upcoming Town Council meeting. The
Patriot Cup competition is sponsored by Loudoun Now newspaper.
