“TourLeesburg” App Offers Improved Experience
The walking tour app features four self-guided tours in downtown Leesburg.
Leesburg, VA (August 25, 2022) – The Town’s self-guided
walking tour app, “TourLeesburg” has a new look following
a migration from OnCell to stqry.
The new platform currently features four self-guided
walking tours of downtown Leesburg:
• Highlights of Historical Leesburg
• Leesburg’s African American History
• Loudoun County Foreign War Memorials
• Public Art Tour
Viewers may follow along as they are guided from site to
site or can choose to turn on the GeoAlerts feature, which will alert them to when they are near
a site included on the tour. Historical photos, maps, images, and audio narration are offered for
each site. Tours will be updated on a regular basis while new ones will be forthcoming. An
architectural tour of downtown Leesburg and a historic tree walk are currently in the work s.
The Town debuted its walking tour app in August 2017 with two historical tours of downtown.
The free app is available in the App Store and Google Play. The web-based tour is available at
