The Global Local Shop Celebrates Grand Re-Opening
Leesburg, VA (August 31, 2022) – A ribbon cutting was
held Wednesday morning to celebrate the grand re-
opening of The Global Local, in Leesburg.
The shopping space showcases over 20 local artists and
makers as well as an array of globally sourced fair trade
products.
According to Owner Tyra Flynn, The Global Local’s
mission is to create an immersive and exciting shopping
experience that connects clients to their purchases through storytelling. From locally produced
goods and foods to globally crafted handbags and jewelry and a Global Kids Collection, there’s
always something new to discover, taste, and take home.
“The best part about being a small business in Loudoun County are the people,” Flynn said .
“There are so many entrepreneurs, makers and farmers, small businesses, and promising
startups in our county. We have been so lucky to have collaborated with many of them and
hope to continue adding local artists and businesses to our list of partners.”
