Leesburg Utilities and Public Works Departments to Host Open
House on Saturday, October 1
Tours of the water plant and wastewater plant will be available to those who
pre-register for the event.
Leesburg, VA (September 16, 2022) –
The Leesburg Utilities and Public
Works Departments will host an open
house on Saturday, October 1.
Residents will have the opportunity to
learn more about the services and
equipment used to provide safe,
efficient, and reliable services in the
Town.
Staff will be on hand to answer
questions regarding each service
while providing educational handouts
and demonstrations. Town vehicles will be on display in the back parking lot of the utility
maintenance building, which will allow families to see the vehicles up close while learning how
each one operates.
In addition, residents can pre-register for tours of the water plant and wastewater plant. Each
tour lasts one hour and is limited to 10 people, ages 10 and above. Click here to register.
The free event will be held at the Utilities Department, located at 1385 Russell Branch Parkway
