City Council Minutes
Mayor Muller called the special meeting of the McCall City Council to order at 6:10pm.
Mr. Muller, Mr. Colton, Mr. Eimers, and Mr. Venable answered roll call. A quorum was
present. City staff members present were City Manager Robert Strope and City Clerk
Cathleen Koch.
Joint Meeting with the Water Treatment Plant Citizens Advisory Committee &
Adoption of Resolution 00-13 for the Water Treatment Plant
Mr. Strope presented Resolution 00-13 to the Council Members for adoption.
Mr. Eimers moved to approve Resolution 00-13 and authorize the Mayor to sign.
Mr. Colton seconded the motion. At a roll call vote, Mr. Eimers, Mr. Venable, Mr.
Colton, and Mr. Muller voted aye. The motion carried.
Mr. Muller thanked the committee members for their dedication and cooperation. Their
work led to the decision made by the Council. McCall is the first City in the state to deal
with the complexities of the unfunded federal mandate dealing with the Safe Drinking
Water Act.
Mr. Muller presented plaques and gift certificates to the members present, which
included Nick Weise, Bill Keating, Don Green, Jim Staup, Joe Johnson and Dave
Simmons. The other members would receive their plaques and gift certificates at a
later date.
Without further business, Mr. Eimers moved to adjourn. Mr. Colton seconded the
motion. All Council Members voted aye. The motion carried. The Council adjourned at
7:15pm.
