City Council Minutes
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Council President Eimers called the special meeting of the McCall City Council to order
at 11:02am. Ms. Arp, Mr. Eimers, and Mr. Venable answered roll call. A quorum was
present. City staff members present were City Manager Robert Strope, Deputy City
Clerk Consuelo Blake. Attorney Kim Trout was also present.
BUSINESS
AB-00-82 Robert Strope presented a report on the Highway 55/Deinhard Connector
contract asking City council to authorize the contract and notice to proceed.
Ms. Arp moved to authorize Mr. Eimers to sign the contract with Valley Paving
and to sanction City Manager Robert Strope to have the authority to authorize the
notice to proceed. Kirk Eimers seconded the motion. At a roll call, Ms. Arp, Mr.
Venable, and Mr. Eimers voted aye. The motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Kirk Eimers moved to go into executive session per Idaho Code 67-2345(1fl to
consider pending litigation at 11:10am. Marilyn Arp seconded the motion. At a
roll call vote, Mr. Eimers, Ms. Arp and Mr. Venable voted aye. The motion carried.
The discussion concerned pending litigation.
Marilyn Arp moved to come out of executive session at 1:55pm. Kirk Eimers
seconded the motion. At a roll call vote Mr. Eimers, Ms. Arp and Mr. Venable
voted aye. The motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Without further business, Marilyn Arp moved to adjourn. Kirk Eimers seconded
the motion. All Council Members voted aye. The motion carried. The Council
adjourned at 1:57pm.
