HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 94-33141 1 1 RESOLUTION NO. 94 -3314 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DENYING ZONE VARIANCE 94 -1193, A REQUEST BY IVAN AND MELBA VINTIMILLA TO ALLOW THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 17 FOOT BY 44 FOOT CARPORT ALONG THE WEST PROPERTY LINE RATHER THAN THE REQUIRED FIVE FEET THEREFROM AND WITH A 14 FOOT VEHICULAR BACKUP DISTANCE RATHER THAN THE REQUIRED 25 FEET IN THE (R -2) ZONE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: SECTION 1. Based upon public input received at a noticed public hearing before the Planning Commission and based upon additional information provided in the Staff Report, and based upon testimony received before the City Council at a noticed public hearing on March 1, 1994, the City Council hereby denies Zone Variance 94 -1193 based upon the fmdings contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 93- 1724PC. SECTION 2. This project is not inconsistent with the General Plan, and is categorically exempt from CEQA. SECTION 3. Accordingly, Zone Variance 94 -1193 is denied. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
