RESOLUTION NO. 94 -3314
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY DENYING ZONE VARIANCE 94 -1193, A REQUEST BY IVAN
AND MELBA VINTIMILLA TO ALLOW THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
17 FOOT BY 44 FOOT CARPORT ALONG THE WEST PROPERTY
LINE RATHER THAN THE REQUIRED FIVE FEET THEREFROM
AND WITH A 14 FOOT VEHICULAR BACKUP DISTANCE RATHER
THAN THE REQUIRED 25 FEET IN THE (R -2) ZONE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. Based upon public input received at a noticed public hearing before the Planning
Commission and based upon additional information provided in the Staff Report, and based upon testimony
received before the City Council at a noticed public hearing on March 1, 1994, the City Council hereby
denies Zone Variance 94 -1193 based upon the fmdings contained in Planning Commission Resolution No.
93- 1724PC.
SECTION 2. This project is not inconsistent with the General Plan, and is categorically exempt
from CEQA.
SECTION 3. Accordingly, Zone Variance 94 -1193 is denied.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter
it into the book of original resolutions.

Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of March, 1994, by the
