Emergency Shelter Agreement
THIS AGREEMENT, entered into this 1 - day of , 20 13 by and
between The School Board of Okaloosa County, Florida a he governmental agency having
jurisdiction over SV,,,Q,,,V RWer PR. S, School (hereinafter the "School") and
Cresri iEM1?a,eks .r?ECKtIr-+ o N , is for the purpose of setting forth the terms and
conditions under which the School will be allowed to utilize the facilities of
S Atv+sl. 1 C i r4ti l� in the event of an emergency at the School during the 20 13
/20 lL school year.
The parties do agree as follows:
l . In the event of an emergency and/or crisis situation at the School then the students, faculty,
and staff of the School may be relocated to the facilities of
VtAi `ARIL which shall serve as a temporary shelter.
2. The administrators of the School shall be responsible for the supervision of students while
they are at the temporary shelter facility.
3. The School District shall issue a certificate of insurance to the owner of the shelter facility for
the use as outlined in this Agreement.

SUBJECT: School Evacuation Emergency Shelter Agreement
BACKGROUND: The City Council has approved this type of agreement for the schools in the past
usually on an annual basis as we receive them.
DISCUSSION: The agreement allows in the event of an emergency a predetermined location for
all students/faculty to be relocated which facility shall serve as a temporary shelter.
GOALS & OBJECTIVES: To approve the agreement.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Motion to approve.
