Mayor Eimers was excused. A quorum was present. City staff members present were, Chief of Police Ralph Appa, and Assistant to the City Manager Tina Clark. Council Member Robertson led the Council in the Pledge of Allegiance. Sale of LID #3 parcels to Silvertip, LLC Printed 10/28/2004 Page 1 of 3 July 26, 2004, 2004 City Council Minutes Council Member Robertson said staff carried out the calculations properly, but that the closing can be extended until August 3, 2004 without any penalties. Amy Pemberton and Paul Turcke are still working out the details of the contract. Mr. Robertson said there are two things that need to be done tonight, extend the closing date to Tuesday August 3, 2004 and establish a Special Council meeting for Monday August 2, 2004. Amy Pemberton asked that the Council extend the due diligence period along with the closing date to Tuesday August 3, 2004. Council Member Bertram moved to extend the due diligence and closing date to August 3, 2004. Council Member Greer seconded the motion. All Council Members voted aye. The motion carried. Council Member Robertson moved to set a special meeting of the City Council for August 2, 2004. Council Member Bertram seconded the motion. All Council Members voted aye. The motion carried. AB 04-127 State - Local Agreement for the Four Corners Beautification Project Council Member Robertson stated that AB 04-127 has been removed from the agenda. A break was taken at 7:17 to 7:32 p.m. Interview and selection of Prosecuting Attorney Council Members interviewed three prosecuting attorneys, Larry Dunn, Richard Linville, and Matthew Williams. In a roll call vote, Council Member Muller voted Dunn, Council Member Robertson voted Dunn, Council Member Greer voted Dunn, and Council Member Bertram voted Larry Dunn for the new prosecuting attorney. All Council Members voted aye. The motion carried. Without further business, Council Member Greer moved to adjourn. Council Member Muller seconded the motion. All Council Members voted aye.
