AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, CERTAIN TEFT.ITORY
CONTIGUOUS THERETO, DESCRIBING THE SAME, PROVIDING FOR THE Pt'JBLICATIUN
THEREOF, AND FIRING THE TIME WREN THE SAME SHALL TAKE ELECT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indian,.
SECTION 1. That the following described territory be annexed to and
declared to be a part of said City of Richmond, Indiana.
Being a part of the southwest quarter of Section 30,
Township 14 North, Range 1 Vest, Wayne Township,
Ric*ond, Wayne County, Indiana, and more particularly
des ribed as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said section and
running thence north along the west line of said
section, which is also the corporation line, north
2640.00 feet; thence south 89 degrees 26 minutes east
1185.58 feet; thence south 7 degrees 40 minutes rrast
1446.10 feet; thence south 81 degrees 50 minutes east
333.00 feet; thence south 7 degrees 27 minutes west
545.09 feet; thence south 62 degrees 47 minutes east
along the north right-of-way dine of the Penn Cenral
Railroad 1523.60 feet; thence north 89 degrees 48
minutes west 2606.48 feet to the place of beginning,
containing an area of 111.27 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the Mayor and publication as by lass
required.
