E St - From C-1 and parts of M-1, R-3 & R-4 to C-2• r =4 ORDINANCE No. 2459-1970 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No. 2325-1968 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED JUNE 3, 1968, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is a part of Ordinance No. 2325-1968 designates and describes as C-1 Neighborhood Business District, the following described property located in the City of Richmond, Indiana, to wit: (See attached Legal Description) (Also see attached Drawing) SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the zoning classification of the above described area from C-1 and parts of M-1, R-3, and R-4 to C-2.. SECTION 3. WHEREAS, a study of this Or nan a was conducte the Richmond City Plan Commission on the _ day of 19.1h., at which time remonstrances were heard from a parties inter- ested in or affected by this Ordinance. SECTION 4. WHE , the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was K) to S (,4) in (�sf opposition to) recommending the ad ption of Or inance No.. NOW THEREFORE: SECTION 5. It is hereby ordained that the zoning classification of the above described property be, and the same is hereby changed to Community Business District and that said property be regulated in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, and all amendments thereto. SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and gffect from and after its passage and publication as by law required. SECTION 7. The original zoning classification of the afore mentioned areas is hereby rescinded and the zoning classification of this area will be in accordance with Section 2 of this Ordinance.
