A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE STREET CLOSURE FOR CORTLAND STREET AND WAIVING THE PERMIT
FEES IN THE AMOUNT OF $538.00
WHEREAS, a request was made by the residents of Cortland Street to close a
portion of Cortland Street (between Muriel Drive and Ernestine Avenue); and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the closure is to promote celebrate the 4ch of July
holiday; and
WHEREAS, the residents of Cortland Street are requesting the street closure for
Saturday, July 4, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; and
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council approves the waiver of permit fees in the amount
of $538.00.
Section 2. The City Council approves the street closure from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00
p.m.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th day of June, 2009.
