RESOLUTION NO. 94 -3333
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY ACCEPTING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF
CERTAIN ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD STREET MEDIAN LANDSCAPE
IMPROVEMENTS IN PERPETUITY
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City intends to make certain landscape improvements to
Rosemead Boulevard from 200 feet north of Hermosa Avenue south to the intersection of Broadway and
Rosemead Boulevard, known as "the 1994 landscape program "; and
WHEREAS, Rosemead Boulevard is part of the State of California system of highways and,
therefore within the State right -of -way; and
WHEREAS, the State of California Department of Transportation requires that local jurisdictions
formally accept responsibility to maintain said landscape improvements within the State right -of -way.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Temple City accepts responsibility for the maintenance of "the 1994
landscape program" in perpetuity made by the City within the State right -of -way on Rosemead Boulevard
from 200 feet north of Hermosa Avenue south to the intersection of Broadway and Rosemead Boulevard.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 17th day of May 1994.

No. 94 -3333, was adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting held on the
17th day of May 1994, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmember- Gillanders, Souder, Wilson, Breazeal, Budds
NOES: Councilmember -None
ABSENT: Councilmember -None
