Cornwall Street Closed to Through Traffic Between North King
Street and Wirt Street on September 25 and 26, 2017
Closure expected from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for tree removal work.
Leesburg, VA (September 20, 2017) – On Monday and Tuesday, September 25 and 26, 2017,
the Town’s tree contractor will be removing a tree on the 100 block of Cornwall Street NW. For
safety reasons, Cornwall Street will be closed to through-traffic between North King Street and
Wirt Street, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both days. There will be no on-street parking
allowed during this time. “No Parking” signs will be posted on Saturday, September 23, in
advance of the parking removal.
During the street closure, Public Works crews will be on site to assist residents and business
staff in and out of the work area.
