A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND SECTION
75.04(6) OF THE TIFFIN MUNICIPAL CODE TO ALLOW SNOWMOBILES TO
UTILIZE CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY
Whereas, The City of Tiffin recognizes the need to amend its ordinance to allow
snowmobiles to utilize City Right-of-Way, and;
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes the requirement to hold a
public hearing to amend a city ordinance,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the
Public Hearing for December 17, 2019.
On the 3'11 day of December, 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-123, A RESOLUTION
SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND SECTION 75.04(6) OF THE
TIFFIN MUNICIPAL CODE TO ALLOW SNOWMOBILES TO UTILIZE CITY RIGHT-
OF-WAY and made a rnotion fr '11. Motion seconded by Councilp(,,rson

Nays: None
Absent, Ryan
Whereupon four Council mernbers were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2019-123, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE
FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND SECTION 75.04(6) OF THE TIFFIN
MUNICIPAL CODE TO ALLOW SNOWMOBILES TO UTILIZE CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY
to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 311J day of December, 2019.
