A quorum was present.The Cemetery Resources Board met on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in the Thomas JeffersonRoom, lower level of the John G. Christy Municipal Building, 320 E. McCarty Street, Jefferson City,Missouri.Approval of the Minutes:A motion was made for approval of the minutes from the November 18, 2021 meeting by Ram Wren,Ram Rich seconded. Minutes were approved.Old Business:Rebecca Gordon gave a brief discussion about the upcoming Cemetery Walking Tour. Rebecca discussedhelping the launching of the book written by Nancy Thompson and Michelle Brooks about Woodlandand Old City Cemetery. This would be on Saturday, April 23, 2022. The event would be more of an openhouse instead of a walking tour. The book will be promoted and history given to those in attendanceabout individuals interred in the cemeteries.The preserving gravestone project was discussed. Members agreed that doing ten new gravestones at atime to be placed at current gravestones that are no longer readable would be a manageable project.New Business:No new business was discussed at this time. Other Topics and Issues:Rebecca Gordon mentioned creating a Facebook page just for the cemeteries to help promote eventsand to tell the history of those interred would be a project to gather interest in the cemeteries. DavidGrellner will discuss with City of Jefferson leaders whether this can be done.The next Cemetery Resources Board meeting was set for Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in theThomas Jefferson Conference Room at City Hall.Adjournment:With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.Respectfully submitted,CMDavid Grellner
