A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING
A CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $14,980 TO APA ENGINEERING,
INC. FOR THE DESIGN OF SANBORN AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Sanborn Avenue Improvement Project is listed in the FY 2008-
09 Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, on June 1, 2009, staff sent a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the
design and preparations of contract documents for said projects to the three pre-
approved on-call consulting engineering firms; and
WHEREAS, APA Engineering, Inc. is a qualified consulting firm that has the
staffing and expertise to prepare the project design and contract documents for a fee of
not-to-exceed $14,980; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Lynwood City Council awards a consulting services
contract to APA Engineering, Inc. in anot-to-exceed amount of $14,980 for the design
of Sanborn Avenue Improvement Project
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Agreement between
the City of Lynwood and APA Engineering, Inc. in a form approved by the City Attorney.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of June, 2009.
