MEDINA SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 19, 1997
The City Council of Medina, Minnesota met in special session on November 19, 1997 at
7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Chambers. Mayor John Ferris presided.
Members present: Ferris, Zietlow, Hamilton, Johnson, and Thies.
Members absent: None.
Also present: Interim Police Chief Ed Belland, Public Works Director Jim Dillman, and City
Clerk -Treasurer Paul Robinson.
1. Approval of the Agenda
Payment for Independence Beach Lift Station was added.
Moved by Ann Thies, seconded by John Ferris, to approve the agenda as amended.
Motion passed unanimously.
2. Approval of Payment for Independence Beach Lift Station
Moved by Phil Zietlow, seconded by Ann Thies, to approve payment of order check #17800
For $ 69, 069.61. Motion passed unanimously.
3. Performance Evaluations of Department Heads
A. Police Chief - Meeting was closed for evaluation at 7:00 p.m. and reopened at
7:40

B. Public Works Director - Meeting was closed for evaluation at 7:41 p.m. and
reopened at 8:48 p.m.
C. City Clerk -Treasurer - Meeting was closed for evaluation at 8:50 p.m. and
reopened at 9:45 p.m.
4. Adiournment
Moved by Ann Thies, seconded by Jim Johnson, to adjourn the meeting at 9:50 p.m.
Motion passed unanimously.
