A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF PARK ROAD
RIGHT-OF-WAY
Whereas, the Owner of DERS Tiffin LLC has completed certain necessary public
infrastructure for a portion of Park Road, and;
Whereas, the Owner has agreed to dedicate land and additional land to the City of Tiffin
for the purposes of expanding the Park Road right-of-way, and;
Whereas, acceptance of this right-of-way dedication is in the public interest,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa hereby
accepts the dedication of the right-of-way for Park Road as described in the deeds. The
City Clerk is hereby authorized to record a copy of the Resolution along with the right-
of-way dedication deeds for Park Road in the Johnson County Recorder's Office.
On the 20th day of August, 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-101, A RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF PARK ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY and made a
motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler.
Ayes: Havens, Bartels, Upton, Ryan, Schnedler
Nays: None
Absent: None
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2019-101, A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE
DEDICATION OF PARK ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY to be adopted and signified his
approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 20th day of August, 2019.
