HomeMy Public PortalAbout2008.01.28 Special Council MinutesMINUTES McCall City Council Special Meeting January 28, 2008 Agenda Call to Order and Roll Call Business Agenda Executive Session Adjournment CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL Mayor Kulesza called the regular meeting of the McCall City Council to order at 3:01 p.m. Council Member Bailey, Council Member Briem, Council Member Kraemer, Mayor Kulesza and Council Member Scott answered roll call. A quorum was present. Also present were Lindley Kirkpatrick, City Manager; Fred Quiel, Deputy City Manager / Administrative Services, and Walter Eisenstein, Deputy City Manager / Infrastructure & Community Development; City Attorneys Bill Nichols (via telephone), Kim Trout and David Krueck. BUSINESS AGENDA AB 08-26 Ordinance 848: Building Heights in the Scenic Overlay Portion of the Airport Zone. Council Member Scott recused herself at this time. Mayor Kulesza moved to suspend the rules and read Ordinance 848, by title only, for the second and third readings. Council Member Kraemer seconded the motion and in a roll call vote, all members voted aye and the motion passed. Mayor Kulesza moved to adopt Ordinance 848. Council Member Kraemer seconded the motion and in a roll call vote, all members voted aye and the motion passed. Council Member Scott rejoined the meeting at this time. EXECUTIVE SESSION McCall City Council Special Meeting January 28, 2008 Page 1 of 2 Council Member Scott moved to go into Executive Session for litigation pursuant to Idaho Code §67-2345(1)f to consider and advise its legal representatives in pending litigation or where there is a general public awareness of probable litigation. The motion was seconded by Council Member Briem. In a roll call vote, all members voted aye, and the motion carried. The Council discussed litigation pursuant to Idaho Code §67-2345(1)f.
