A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE A
PORTION OF SHAMROCK CENTER FROM C-213 TO M-2, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN,
IOWA
Whereas, The City recognizes a request from Hightower Development, Inc. to rezone a
portion of Shamrock Center from C-213 (Community Business District) to M-2 (Heavy
Industrial) in Tiffin, Iowa, and,
Whereas, the rezoning map of the property is attached to this resolution; and,
Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning
on a 3-0 vote at its July 10, 2019 meeting.
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the
date of public hearing for August 6, 2019, to discuss the rezoning of Shamrock Addition.
On the 16th day of July, 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Bartels introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-091, A RESOLUTION
SETTING THE DATE OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE A PORTION OF
SHAMROCK CENTER FROM C-213 T -2, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and
made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnelder.
Ayes: Upton, Ryan, Havens, Schnedler, Bartels
Nays: None.
Absent:
Whereupon Five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2019-091, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE
OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE A PORTION OF SHAMROCK CENTER FROM
C-213 TO M-2, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval
of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
