PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION
WHEREAS, Block 168, Lot 6.01, located at 85 Heald Street,
assessed to Gary Singy received an added tax bill for
improvements during the 2005 tax year, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor has recognized that this parcel was
billed based upon an eight month period for the added
assessment and ~he revised billing should represent a five
month period, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector recommends that the taxes assessed
for the 2005 tax year be cancelled to properly reflect this
change on Block 168, Lot 6.01 in the amount of $2,258.63.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax
Collector cancel the 2005 taxes in the amount of $2,258.63.
