CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Kulesza called the special meeting of the McCall City Council to order at 10:00 a.m.
Council Member Bailey, Mayor Kulesza, Council Member Scott, and Council Member
Witte answered roll call. Council Member Delaney was absent.
City staff present were Lindley Kirkpatrick, City Manager; Jerry Summers, Chief of Police; Eric
McCormick, Golf Course Superintendent; John Anderson, Airport Manager; Anne Kantola,
Library Director; Michelle Groenevelt, Community Development Director; Tim Swanson,
Interim Public Works Director; David Simmonds, Information Systems Manager; Brock Heasley,
Parks and Recreation Director; Linda Stokes, Treasurer; Rick Scherette, Street Superintendent;
Levi Brinkley, Water/Sewer Superintendent; Cindy Blackman, Personnel Manager; Lorraine
Brush, Administrative Assistant; John Lewinski, Water/Sewer Plant Superintendent; and
BessieJo Wagner, City Clerk.
COUNCIL WORK SESSION WITH CITY DEPARTMENT HEADS
FY 2009 Budget Review
Mr. Kirkpatrick reviewed the Fiscal Year end 2008 Fund Balances and clarified the Internal
Balances and Long-term Internal Balances. Mr. Kirkpatrick also reviewed the second quarter
budget for Fiscal Year 2009 and the expected shortfalls and expense reductions to compensate
for those shortfalls. (See attached memos)

LOT COMMISSION AND THE CHAIRS OF THE ADVISORY COMMITTEES
FY 2010 Budget Work Session
Each of the Committee Chairs gave a brief explanation of what their committee would like to
accomplish in Fiscal Year 2010.

Chairs of the advisory Committees present were Jackie Aymon, Transportation Advisory
Committee; Walt Lee, Airport Advisory Committee; Claire Remsberg, Environmental Advisory
Committee; Bob Giles, Golf Advisory Committee; Guy Fairbrother, Historic Preservation
Commission; Nancy Butler, Library Board of Trustees; Steve Gleason, Local Option Tax
Commission; Cathy Jasperson, McCall Improvement Committee; Bob Youde, Planning &
Zoning Commission; Shorty Clarke, Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee; and John
Lillehaug, Tree Committee
ADJOURNMENT
