RESOLUTION NO. 94 -3344
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ESTABLISHING
BUILDING, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND
MISCELLANEOUS RELATED FEES FOR BUILDING AND SAFETY
SERVICES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND
ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 7105 (A) and 7105 (B) of the Temple City Municipal the fee
structure for Building and Safety services shall be the adopted and approved fees as set forth in the Los Angeles
County Building Code, provided, however, that the amounts shall be increased in each instance by 50 percent to
cover City review and processing costs.
SECTION 2. Annually, Los Angeles County increases the Los Angeles County fee schedule to reflect
increases in the consumer price index (CPI) for all urban consumers in the Los Angeles, Anaheim and Riverside
areas, as published in the United States Government Bureau of Labor Statistics. New fees take effect on July
1 of the applicable year.
SECTION 3. The consumer price index (CPI) increase for the past year has been 1.8 percent; therefore,
fees charged in accordance with the Los Angeles County fee schedule will be increased 1.8 percent.
SECTION 4. Effective July 1, 1994, Section 7105 of the Temple City Municipal Code referencing Building
fees, Section 7204 of the Temple City Municipal Code referencing Mechanical fees, Section 7303 of the Temple City
Municipal Code referencing Electrical fees, and Section 7403 of the Temple City Municipal Code referencing
Plumbing fees shall be modified to reflect the revised Los Angeles County Department of Public Works fee
schedule, plus a 50 percent charge in each instance to cover City expenses related to providing these services.
SECTION 5. The above referenced fees for Building, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical and Miscellaneous
plan check and permit services shall be increased to reflect the 1.8 percent change in the consumer price index
(CPI). Said increase shall be effective as of July 1, 1994.
SECTION= 6. The City . Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
