CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Bailey called the special meeting of the McCall City Council to order at 11:05 a.m.
Mayor Bailey, Council Member Delaney, Council Member Kulesza, and Council Member
Witte answered roll call. Council Member Scott was absent. A quorum was present.
City staff present was Lindley Kirkpatrick, City Manager; and John Anderson, Airport Manager.
WORK SESSION
Presentation - McCall Memorial Hospital
Dan Krahn, Board Chair-McCall Memorial Hospital; and Rich Holm, Vice President of regional
Services for St. Lukes presented Council with information on the pending merger of the McCall
Memorial Hospital and St. Lukes. They covered the proposed governance structure and the
planned outreach meetings. The presentation also clarified that the property taxes for the
Hospital District will continue.
Report on MURA action regarding traffic patterns within MURA District
Mayor Bailey and Council Member Delaney, who are members of the McCall Urban Renewal
Agency (MURA), reported to the Council that there would not be any changes to the current
traffic circulation. MURA plans to collect more data during the summer looking particularly at
possible congestion areas. Construction of sidewalks will start after Labor Day.
Discussion of current Airport Leases and the process of assumption
John Anderson, Airport Manager, participated in the Council discussion on ways to streamline
airport leases and the process of lease assumptions. Mr. Anderson stated that the Airport
Advisory Committee was working on revising the Minimum Standards and Rules and
Regulations for the airport and he would have the documents to Council for review soon.

Mr. Anderson updated Council with the status of the runway rehabilitation. He stated that some
construction would be started in October of 2010 starting with the drainage and sewer and then
in the spring of 201 1 the reconstruction of the runway would begin.

Without further business, Mayor Bailey adjned the Meeting at 12:40 p.m.
