CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Bailey Called the special meeting of the McCall City Council to order at 11:00 a.m.
Mayor Bailey, Council Member Kulesza, and Council Member Witte answered roll call.
Council Member Delaney and Council Member Scott were absent. A quorum was present.
City staff present was Lindley Kirkpatrick, City Manager; Eric McCormick, Golf Course
Superintendent; Jerry Summers, Police Chief; and Alan Morrison, Golf Pro.
WORK SESSION
Golf Course Tour
The Council toured the golf course with Eric McCormick, Golf Course Superintendent. The tour
included the maintenance shop and storage unit.
Council Member Witte left the meeting.
AB 10-146 Debriefing of the 2010 McCall Winter Carnival, Updates on the Fourth of July
Festivities and the McCall Bike Fest, and Proposed Staffing Levels for Both
Events
Jerry Summers gave a report on the police activities for the 2010 McCall Winter Carnival,
Updates on the Fourth of July Festivities and the McCall Bike Fest; stating that most of the
policing was done by other agencies regarding the issues with Ponderosa Park, etc. which took
place outside of McCall.
AB 10-154 FY11 Budget Discussion
There was general Council discussion regarding the Local Option Tax Commission
recommendations, the transfer of $100,000 to the Golf Fund, and whether to take or not take the
3% property tax increase. The Council also discussed a plan to assist the animal shelter, and

Snowdon, due to the extensive damage from the earlier floods. Alan Morrison suggested that the
City, or the Golf Course, organize a jazz concert to be held at the facility with proceeds to
benefit Snowdon.

Without further business, Mayor Bailey adjourned the meeting at 1:00 p.m.
