CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Bailey called the special meeting of the McCall City Council to order at 11:05 a.m.
Council Member Aymon, Mayor Bailey, and Council Member Delaney, answered roll call.
Council Member Scott and Council Member Witte were absent, a quorum was present.
City staff present was Lindley Kirkpatrick, City Manager; John Anderson, Airport Manager; and
BessieJo Wagner, City Clerk (via phone).
Council Member Witte joined the meeting at 11:12 a.m.
WORK SESSION
Discussion of potential amendments to MCC Title 1
BessieJo Wagner, City Clerk, worked through the suggested changes to Title 1 of the McCall
City Code with the City Council. Council had much discussion of the suggested changes to the
mayoral duties and power. There was clarification that the changes would conflict with state
code due to McCall having the Manager/Council form of government as opposed to the strong
mayor form.
Council asked staff to incorporate the suggested changes and that the amended Title 1 of the
McCall City Code come back to Council at a work session in February of 2011.
Discussion of potential City Council bylaws
Council will discuss the potential bylaws at the work session in February 2011.
Council Member Witte left the meeting at 1:05 p.m.
