ICALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Bailey called the special meeting of the McCall City Council to order at 3:00 p.m.
Council Member Aymon, Mayor Bailey, and Council Member Swanson answered roll call.
Council Member Scott and Council Member Witte were absent.
City staff present was Lindley Kirkpatrick, City Manager.
County Commissioners present were Gordon Cruickshank, Ray Moore, Jerry Winkle, and
County Clerk, Archie Banbury.
WORK SESSION

Economic Development
The Council discussed economic development activities with the County Commissioners. The
City Council and the County Commissioners agreed to work together, with Idaho Dept. of
Commerce, Sage Resources, and Cooperative Extension, to update the strategic plan. Delta
James, Sage Resources, and Commissioner Cruickshank will coordinate with city staff to get a
meeting scheduled. The Cities of Cascade and Donnelly will also be invited.
Funding for Public Transit
Terri Lindenburg addressed the City Council and County Commissioners. She reviewed the
budget for McCall Transit and Mountain Community Transit. Ms. Lindenburg stated that a fare
was being considered for the commuter route, referred to as the Green Line. The fare would help
with operational costs.
Community Housing and VARHA
The City Council and the County Commissioners generally agreed that the Valley County
Regional Housing Authority (VARHA) should remain in place, in some form, so that it could be
used in the future when community housing becomes a more critical issue.

ADJOURNMENT
Without further business, Mayor Bailey adjourned the meeting at 5:00p.m.
