Minutes of the Regular Meeting
Wednesday, February 3, 2010
Present: President Russ Evans, Vice President Dr. John Hennette, Secretary Kara
Thomas, Tim Trigg, Putnam County Library Ex-Officio Member Wes
Wilson, Greencastle Community Schools Ex-Officio Member Kelly Lewis
and City Council Liaison Phyllis Rokicki

Call to Order
The regular meeting of the Board of Park Commissioners was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
by Board President R.Evans and held in the City Council meeting room of Greencastle
City Hall.

Minutes
1. January Regular Meeting - Director R.Weinschenk presented minutes from the
regular meeting held on Wednesday, January 6, 2010. One correction was noted that
although the minutes state he was present, Kelly Lewis was in fact absent from the
meeting. On a motion from K.Thomas, second by T.Trigg, the minutes were
approved with the noted correction. All Ayes.
2. January Special Meeting - Director R.Weinschenk presented minutes from the
special board retreat held on Thursday, January 21, 2010. On a motion from
K.Thomas, second by T.Trigg,the minutes were approved. All Ayes.
Board Elections
The park board held their annual restructuring, with each board member holding their
same positions. This happened as follows:

Director R.Weinschenk presented a list of claims against the department for the board's
approval. A motion was made by T.Trigg, second by KThomas, which passed. All Ayes.

on Tuesday, February 16th and will be held at the Kiwanis Room of the
Putnam County Library. This program is a partnership between the DePauw
University Asian Club and Bonner Scholar Program. Admission is Free!

outline a year's worth of recreation programs for the department. We hope to
