AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE CITY PLAN DEPARTMENT
BUDGET THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS FROM CP-11 (2 24-241)
PRINTING O/T OFFICE SUPPLIES, "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" AND
FIFTY DOLLARS (.$50000) FROM CP 6 (2-29-211) FREIGHT, EXPRESS,
DRAYAGE, "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" TO CP--,20 (3-36-363) OTHER
OFFICE SUPPLIES, "SUPPLIES".
WHEREAS, certain extraor-dinary emergencies have de -.eloped since
the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is
necessary tc appropriate mc,-e money fcr varvious, functions of
the City Government than was appropriated to the annual budget.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Cormnon Counc11 of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, that for the expenses of the City
Government and its institutions for the year ending December
31, 1970, the following amount of money is hereby appropriated
and set apa,:t out of the fund names and for the purpose
specified. Said sum being subject to all laws governing the
same. Such amounts appropriated shall be held to include all
expenditures to be made during the year unless expressly
stipulated by law.
SECTION 2„ That for the fiscal year, there is hereby appropriated
the following specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency
that exists.

SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing
appropriations now have Unobligated ba;ances which will not be
used for the purpose which appropriated,
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Cctr°�mon Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, that such unnecessary existing appropriations
be now reduced in amount as follows: and the same is appropriated
to the above named item.

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above
appropriation.
SECTION 5� This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval by the Mayon and is
subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency
appropriations.
