RESOLUTION NO. 94 -3358
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY ESTABLISHING A FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE CITY'S
RECREATIONAL FACILITY RENTAL PROGRAM.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, City Council has established guidelines for setting fee schedules for City's
recreational fee and charge programs; and
WHEREAS, the City currently offers a recreational facility rental as part of its fee and charge
services;
WHEREAS, the establishment of a fee schedule for recreational facility rental program is
consistent with the City Council's direction;
WHEREAS, the rental rates charged will not exceed reasonable costs associated with the service
provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE,
DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Recreational Facility Rental Fee Schedule (Attachment A) identifies fees and
charges that will be assessed in the in the administration of the City's recreational facility rental program.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 2nd day of August, 1994.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution, Resolution No. 94 -3358, was duly adopted by the
City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting, held on the 2nd day of August, 1994, by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmember- Souder, Wilson, Breazeal, Budds
NOES: Councilmember -None
ABSENT: Councilmember- Gillanders

1. Fees must be paid in full at least seven days prior to requested use.
2. Per hour fees are based upon a minimum of two hours. If staff need to be
assigned for rental, an additional $10.00 per hour per staff will be charged.
3. A $10.00 per hour staff charge will be levied on all groups requesting use
of facilities should staff need to be specially assigned to cover event.
4. Groups in Categories I and II can reserve use by completing and submitting
the Facility Use Application along with the proper insurance documentation.
Groups in categories III, IV and V can reserve facility use by submitting the
same documentation along with a $50.00 non refundable deposit.
5. Special Event Insurance is available for an additional expense. Cost will
depend upon the type of activity and its estimated attendance.
6. Groups using sports field lights will be charged for use of lights at a rate
based upon the actual light bill and the groups percentage of use during t
billing cycle.
