CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL''
Mayor Bailey called the special meeting of the McCall City Council to order at 8:30 a.m.
Council Member Aymon, Mayor Bailey, and Council Member Witte answered roll call.
Council Member Scott and Council Member Swanson were absent. A quorum was present.
City staff present was Lindley Kirkpatrick, City Manager; and Barbara Sivey, Human Resources
Manager.
EXECUTIVE SESSION'
At 8:31 a.m., Mayor Bailey moved to go into Executive Session for: Hiring - Pursuant to
Idaho Code §67-2345(1)(a): to consider hiring a public officer, employee, staff member or
individual agent, wherein the respective qualities of individuals are to be evaluated in order
to fill a particular vacancy or need. This paragraph does not apply to filling a vacancy in
an elective office or deliberations about staffing needs in general; Council Member Aymon
seconded the motion. In a roll call vote Mayor Bailey, Council Member Aymon, and
Council Member Witte all voted aye and the motion carried.
Council conducted phone and Skype interviews with possible City Manager candidates.
Council took a recess at 9:25 and returned to Executive Session at 10:12 a.m.
RETURN TO OPEN SESSION'
At 1:25 p.m., Council Member Aymon moved to return to Open Session. Council Member
Witte seconded the motion. In a voice call vote, all voted aye and the motion carried.
