CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Bailey called the special meeting of the McCall City Council to order at 6:07 p.m.
Council Member Aymon, Mayor Bailey, Council Member Witte, and Council Member
Swanson answered roll call. Council Member Scott was absent. A quorum was present.
City staff present were Gene Drabinski, Interim City Manager; and Barbara Sivey, Human
Resources Manager.
EXECUTIVE -SESSION
At 6:08 p.m., Mayor Bailey moved to go into Executive Session for: Hiring - Pursuant to
Idaho Code §67-2345(1)(a): to consider hiring a public officer, employee, staff member or
individual agent, wherein the respective qualities of individuals are to be evaluated in order
to fill a particular vacancy or need. This paragraph does not apply to filling a vacancy in
an elective office or deliberations about staffing needs in general; Council Member Aymon
seconded the motion. In a roll call vote Mayor Bailey, Council Member Aymon, Council
Member Swanson, and Council Member Witte all voted aye and the motion carried.
Council reviewed applications of possible City Manager candidates.
RETURN TO
OPEN SESSION
At 6:38 p.m., Mayor Bailey moved to return to Open Session. Council Member Swanson
seconded the motion. In a voice call vote, all voted aye and the motion carried.
The Council decided to invite candidate #2 for an in person interview and requested staff to set
the interview up the evening of August 27 or 28, 2012. The Council also decided that candidates
3, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are to be sent the City Manager Supplemental Questions to complete and
return within a week.

ADJOURNMENT
Without further business, Mayor Bailey adjourned the meeting at 6:59 p.m.
