CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Bailey called the special meeting of the McCall City Council to order at 9:05
a.m. Council Member Aymon, Mayor Bailey, Council Member Scott, Council
Member Swanson, and Council Member Witte answered roll call.
City staff present was Barbara Sivey, Human Resources Manager; Jerry Summers, Police
Chief; Sandy Ryska, Police Administrative Assistant Supervisor; and BessieJo Wagner,
City Clerk.
FINALISTS INTERVIEWS
City Council conducted final interviews of the City Manager Candidates, Gene Drabinski
and Carol Brockmann.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
At 11:18 a.m., Mayor Bailey moved to go into Executive Session for: Hiring -
Pursuant to Idaho Code §67-2345(1)(a): to consider hiring a public officer,
employee, staff member or individual agent, wherein the respective qualities of
individuals are to be evaluated in order to fill a particular vacancy or need. This
paragraph does not apply to filling a vacancy in an elective office or deliberations
about staffing needs in general; Council Member Swanson seconded the motion. In
a roll call vote Mayor Bailey, Council Member Swanson, Council Member Aymon,
Council Member Scott, and Council Member Witte all voted aye and the motion
carried.
Council reviewed the City Manager candidates' qualifications.

RETURN TO OPEN SESSION
At 12:41 p.m., Council Member Swanson moved to return to Open Session. Council
Member Witte seconded the motion. In a voice call vote, all voted aye and the
motion carried.
Council decided to schedule an additional Special Meeting on November 5, 2012 at 7:00
p.m. to carry out final deliberations and make a decision on which candidate to make an
offer of City Manager.
ADJOURNMENT
Without further business, the Mayor adjourned the meeting at 12:45 p.m.
