The City Council of Medina, Minnesota met in special session on November 21, 2014 at
8:30 a.m. at the locations noted below in Medina, MN.
I. Call to Order
Members present: Martin, Martinson, Weir
Members absent: Anderson, Pederson
Also present: City Administrator Scott Johnson, Public Works Director Steve
Scherer, City Planner Dusty Finke, and Public Safety Director Ed Belland.
II. 2014 Fall Business Tours
Kalla Lily Salon & Spa — 325 Clydesdale Trail — City Council and staff met with
owners Marilou Evenson and Melissa Ebert at the salon site. Melissa Ebert provided a
tour and information on her business to the City Council. The owners did comment on
the higher price for SAC and WAC charges in Medina.
Worldwide Gaming — 640 Hamel Road — City Council and staff met with Bradley
Hansen. Mr. Hansen provided a tour and information on his business. The business
continues to grow and they are currently looking for a larger space. The business
specializes in reselling and selling parts for slot machines.
PupTown LLC — 810 Tower Drive — City Council and staff met with Tom and Jill
Kingstedt at the salon site. Mr. Kingstedt provided a tour and information on his
business. The business continues to grow and they are looking into the possibility of
expanding capacity at their current location.
III. Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 10:20 a.m.
