Town of Leesburg Chooses Granicus’ GovDelivery for
Automatic News and Update Notifications to Residents
New system offers text and email notifications.
Leesburg, VA (October 23, 2017) – The Town of Leesburg recently went live with a new system
for delivering automatic notifications to subscribers. The new system, GovDelivery, offers
subscribers the ability to receive notifications via text as well as email.
Subscribers receive news and other updates on a variety of topics, including trash and recycling
schedule changes, business news, news releases, and updates on specific projects like the
Eastern Gateway District small area plan and the construction of Battlefield Parkway from
Route 15 to the Dulles Greenway. Subscribers can sign up for as many topics as they wish and
may unsubscribe at any time.
