A RESOLUTION BY THE MOAB CITY COUNCIL TO ADOPT THE CITY OF MOAB
TENTATIVE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018-2019 AND SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR REVIEW OF THE FINAL BUDGET ON MAY 14, 2019 AT 7:15 PM
The following describes the intent and purpose of this resolution:
a. On April 1, 2019, the City Manager submitted a tentative budget to the City Council.
b. The City Council desires to adopt the tentative budget as required by State law.
c. The City Council desires to make the tentative budget available for public review and
comment at least ten days prior to the public hearing.
d. The City Council desires to set a public hearing for May 14, 2019, at approximately 7:15
PM to formally receive additional public input on the budget.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council resolves as follows:
1. The City Council hereby adopts the tentative budget attached as Attachment A, which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
2. The City Council will conduct a public hearing to review the final budget for fiscal year
2019-2020 on May 14, 2019 at approximately 7:15 PM.
