ENDORSING APPLICATION FOR 2006 SMART FUTURE'S GRANT
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret, County of
Middlesex, New Jersey are desirous of obtaining funds from the New Jersey
Department of Community Affairs, Office of Smart Growth in the amount of
Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00); and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mayor
and Council of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New
Jersey that the Borough of Carteret hereby endorses the submission of the above
referenced FY 2006 Office of Smart Growth Grant Application to the New Jersey
Department of Community Affairs and further authorizes the Mayor to execute
any and all documents necessary in connection with said application;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution shall be
forwarded to Ron McPhee, Grant Coordinator for submission to the NJ DCA,
Office of Smart Growth.
Adopted this 16th day of February, 2006
and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 17, 2006.
