COMMISSION WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT THIS MEETING, SAID
PARTY WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS, AND FOR SUCH PURPOSE, MAY
NEED TO INSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE, WHICH
RECORD INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO

COMMISSIONERS HELD BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM ON
FRIDAY, MARCH 11, 2011 AT NOON, IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS OF THE TOWN
HALL, 100 SEA ROAD, GULF STREAM, FLORIDA.

III. Certification of Election Results.
Town Clerk Rita Taylor reported that Annexation of the South Pocket was
a dual referendum with two precincts voting. Out of 98 registered voters
in the South Pocket, 71 voted and 100 percent voted in favor of
Annexation. Out of 646 registered voters in the Town of Gulf Stream,
231 voted in favor of Annexation and 27 voted against Annexation. The
total percent of voter turnout was 44.22 percent.
IV. Seating of 5 Commissioners.
The five (5) Commissioners are William F. Koch, Jr., Joan K. Orthwein,
Chris D. Wheeler, Muriel Anderson and Fred B. Devitt, III.
V. Swearing in of the Commissioners.
Clerk Taylor distributed the Oath of Office to the Commissioners, asked
them to raise their right hand and read the Oath aloud. The
Commissioners read the Oath, Clerk Taylor asked if they all so swear,
all responded affirmatively.
VI. Adjournment.
Commissioner Devitt moved and Commissioner Orthwein seconded to adjourn.
