RESOLUTION NO. 94 -3373
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY DENYING ZONE VARIANCE 94 -1211, A REQUEST BY HELEN
BROWN TO LEGALIZE THE CONVERSION OF A GARAGE TO A
FAMILY ROOM WITHOUT PROVIDING A NEW GARAGE ON A LOT
CURRENTLY IMPROVED WITH TWO DWELLINGS FOR THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6156 SULTANA AVENUE IN THE SINGLE
FAMILY (R -1) ZONE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. Based upon public input received at a noticed public hearing before the Planning
Commission and based upon additional information provided in the Staff Report, and based upon testimony
received before the City Council at a noticed public hearing on October 4, 1994, the City Council hereby
denies Zone Variance 94 -1211 based upon the fmdings contained in Planning Commission Resolution No.
94- 1746PC.
SECTION 2. This project is categorically exempt from CEQA.
SECTION 3. Accordingly, Zone Variance 94 -1211 is denied.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter
it into the book of original resolutions.

Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting held on the 4th day of October, 1994, by the

NOES: Councilmember -None
