Drabinski, City Manager, gave a brief presentation. Within the presentation he described the
desired outcome goals for the meeting; how should the City pay for repairing, maintaining, and

Community Conversation Meetings. Manager Drabinski explained that the City needs $1.6-2
Million over the current budget annually to repair and rebuild McCall's streets.
Manager Drabinski stated that when the audience breaks off into their groups, they will be asked
to do some consider what the City should tax, at what percentage, and for how long. He covered

The audience broke out to five groups led by each of the Council Members. Each group worked
in detail to answer the questions of: What is the right length of time for a "Streets" local option
tax to be in place? And, what percentage of tax should we use?
At the conclusion of the group exercises, Manager Drabinski explained the next steps in the
process. He explained the staff would gather all the information from this meeting along with the
information gathered from the website and present it to Council for their review. The Council
will then use the information provided to assist them with coming to a consensus on a way
