CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Aymon called the special meeting of the McCall City Council to order at 8:30 a.m.
Mayor Aymon, Councilor Giles, Councilor Scott, Councilor Swanson and Councilor Witte
answered roll call. A quorum was present.
City staff present was Gene Drabinski, City Manager; and Traci Malvich, Human Resources
Manager.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
At 8:59 a.m., Councilor Swanson moved to go into Executive Session for: Hiring -
Pursuant to Idaho Code §74-206(1)(a): to consider hiring a public officer, employee, staff
member or individual agent, wherein the respective qualities of individuals are to be
evaluated in order to fill a particular vacancy or need. This paragraph does not apply to
filling a vacancy in an elective office or deliberations about staffing needs in general;
Councilor Scott seconded the motion. In a roll call vote Mayor Aymon, Councilor Giles,
Councilor Scott, Councilor Swanson, and Councilor Witte all voted aye and the motion
carried.
Council conducted phone and in -person interviews with possible City Manager candidates.
RETURN TO OPEN SESSION
At 12:15 p.m., Councilor Swanson moved to return to Open Session. Councilor Scott
seconded the motion. In a voice call vote, all voted aye and the motion carried.
Council directed staff to notify Candidate Johnson and Candidate Trinker that they had not been
selected to continue in the recruiting process. Council selected Candidate Nate Coyle as the
finalist. Council directed staff to organize a public meet and greet/Q&A session on August 8,
2015 at the High School beginning at 6:30 p.m.

ADJOURNMENT
Without further business, Mayor Aymon adjourned the meeting at 12:06 p.m.
