Leesburg Town Hall Parking Garage Changes Delayed
Installation of new automated payment system will begin after the holidays.
Leesburg, VA (November 8, 2017) – Installation of the new automated entry and exit system
for the Leesburg Town Hall Parking Garage will not begin until January 2018.
According to Keith Markel, Leesburg’s Deputy Town Manager, several merchants feel that any
disruption in the downtown will be detrimen tal to their businesses during the holiday season.
“We’re happy to shift this project to after the New Year in order to alleviate their concerns,”
Markel says.
A new project timeline will be announced after Town staff have consulted with the contractor.
