CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Aymon called the specialmeeting of the McCall City Council to order at 6:00p.m.
Mayor Aymon, Council Member Giles, Council Member Holmes, Council Member Witteall
answered roll call.Council Member Nielsen was absent.
City staff members present were BessieJo Wagner, Interim City Manager/City Clerk; Shay Tyler,
Deputy Clerk;Linda Stokes, City Treasurer
PUBLIC HEARING
Mayor Aymon opened the public hearing at 6:01 p.m.
FY17 2nd Budget Amendment
City Treasurer Linda Stokes presented the second fiscal 17 budget amendment request
appropriates additional Local Option Tax –Streets revenue and expenditures of $480,000. LOT –
Streets became effective January 2016 and FY17 budget development began in late spring. At that
time there were five to six months of collection history (winter and shoulder months) to base
revenue estimates for FY17 LOT –Streets revenue. As of 08/31/2017 LOT –Streets FY17 revenue
projections are exceeding the budget by approximately thirty-seven percent.
Council Member Holmesmoved tosuspend the rules, read by title only, one time only,
Ordinance No. 962.Council Member Gilesseconded the motion. In a roll call vote Council
MemberHolmes, Council Member Giles, Mayor Aymon, and Council MemberWitteall
voted aye and the motion carried.
Deputy Clerk Shay Tyler read Ordinance 962:
An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 957, the annual FY17 budget, to provide for additional
monies received by the City of McCall; to appropriate fund balances of the City of McCall;
providing for a title; providing for findings; providing for the adoption of a budget and the
