SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Chamber of Commerce/Winter Carnival Committee has requested the use of Art Roberts,
Brown, and Legacy Parks for events during the 2007 Winter Carnival from Friday, January 26,
2007 through Sunday, February 4, 2007. Pursuant to the large-scale group event policy of the
City parks, the event plan has been approved by the Parks and Recreation Director and the
Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee.
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Director recommends that the McCall City Council issue a
special use permit for the event, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee will make
recommendations on January 9th, 2007.
Attached is the master plan submitted by the Chamber for the use of Art Roberts, Brown, and
Legacy Parks. Also attached are the approved parks reservation forms and the approved fee
waiver request.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve a special use permit to the McCall Area Chamber of Commerce for the use of Art
Roberts, Brown, and Legacy Parks during Winter Carnival 2007.
