RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH ANDREW JANIW OF BEACON PLANNING AND CONSULTING
SERVICES TO PROVIDE SPECIAL RELOCATION SERVICES
WITH REGARD TO THE LANDFILL RECLAMATION
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
\VHEREAS, the Borough is in need of professional planning services with regard to the
relocation activities as part of the Landfill Reclamation Improvement District
Redevelopment Project; and
WHEREAS, Andrew Janiw, a licensed professional pIarmer with Beacon' Planning and
Consulting Services, LLC, posses the requisite skill and expertise to provide said
services; and
\VHEREAS, Andrew Janiw as agreed to provide said services at an initial cost not to
exceed $5,000.00; and
\VHEREAS, the Borough's Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are available
for said purpose through the Redeveloper's escrow account with the Borough for said
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret that Andrew Janiw of Beacon Planning and Consulting Services, LLC, is
hereby authorized and directed to provide professional planning related to relocation
activities for the Landfill Reclamation únprovement District Redevelopment Project at an
initial cost not to exceed $5000.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the award of a contract to Beacon Planning for
said professional planning services is an award of a professional services contract.
