RESOLUTION NO. 95 -3390
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 95 -3388, RE- ESTABLISHING
WORKERS' COMPENSATION INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR
CERTAIN CITY VOLUNTEERS PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION 3363.5 OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA LABOR CODE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City has determined the City's interest will
be best served by utilizing citizen volunteers in the provision of certain government services; and
WHEREAS, said volunteers who serve under the City's official programs are eligible for workers'
compensation insurance while performing government services pursuant to the provisions of Section 3363.5
of the State of California Labor Code. However, volunteers who serve in any capacity other than under
the City's official programs shall not be so eligible.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby acknowledges the eligibility of said volunteers for Workers'
Compensation Benefits, which shall be applicable during the performance of certain government services;
and
SECTION 2. The rights of said volunteers shall be limited to the provisions set forth in the State
of California Labor Code relative to Workers' Compensation Benefits.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED on this 17th day of January 1995.

17th day of January 1995 by the following vote:
