CC 27' Clerk 144 Mayor Called meeting ay 23 1938 Mayor Mellnder called the meting to order at 7:45 P.M. for the purpose of considering the purchase cf e turbine pump for the old well. Members present:A.nderson,Jcrdan,Sanden,Tinker,Venable and Widmaier. After some discussion Widmaier moved,Tinker seconded:That the Board vote either no or yes on the purchase of a pump at this time.No, Anderson,Jordan,S nde r,Venable and Widr aier.Tinker yes. Guy Peterson spoke to the board about the way the water was bother- ing their house on the east side since the cement trou=�h had been put in.This Matter was left to the Street & Alley Committee to look up. The Mayor said that a preacher from Fort Collins had asked to speak on the streets on Saturdays nights.It was decided that it would be alright as long a traffic did not bother. The matter of the special election w s hroutht up again and left over until the next regular meeting so that it might be investigated. Venable moved,Sanden secondew__:Tc: adjcurn.Motion carried. Clerk Regular meeting June 7 1938 Meetinm called to order by the Mayor at 7:5C P.M. Anderson,Jordan,Sanden,Tinker and Widmaier present.Venable absent. Minutes of the regular meeting of May 3 and called meeting of May 23 were read and approved ry_s read. A letter from the Colorado Agricutural College sated that it }Ar=s re4 toe late to spray park trees with oil.It was decided to look up the price of spraye±s so that the school and the town could get one.
